It was another extremely successful day for Rogue triathletes!
Coach Amy Marsh won the Buffalo Springs 70.3 Ironman in Lubbock today, finishing with a time of 04:33:36 – nearly two minutes ahead of the second place finisher.
Amy’s other half, coach Brandon Marsh, had a great day as well, finishing 4th overall for the men in 04:06:53.
Joe Thorne swept his age group, finishing in 04:16:45 and earning a spot in the Ford Ironman World Championships in Kona,Hawaii.
This was the 20th anniversary of the Buffalo Springs 70.3 and attracted over 1,400 competitors, all willing to compete in the heat and humidity in hopes that it would qualify and prepare them for championship races in Kona or in Clearwater.
As usual, Rogues were at the front of the pack. Congratulations!
