It’s something of an ironic situation: Rogue seems to have been blocked by Roadrunner.
What this means is that any emails we send to anyone with a email@example.com address are blocked and kicked back to us. We’ve been working with both our web guys and the people at Roadrunner, but so far nothing has been resolved.
You will still receive the weekly emails and newsletters, as they do not go through our email server, but do know that if you’ve emailed firstname.lastname@example.org and didn’t receive a response, it isn’t because we’re ignoring you! We did get your email, and we did respond, but the response would not have gotten through to you.
Now that the problem has been identified, we try to keep a lookout for those email addresses and use an alternate account to respond if possible. However, it’s inevitable that things are going to slip through the cracks.
If you have a Roadrunner email account, there are a couple of things you can do to make sure that you’re receiving communication from us:
-sign up for a free email account (ie yahoo, gmail, hotmail), let us know the new address, then set it up so that all incoming messages automatically feed to your austin.rr.com address.
-check the forum in your locker room!! You should be doing this anyways, but all Roadrunner customers should make especially sure to do so as all important announcements are posted there.
We’ll keep you posted as things (hopefully) get resolved. In the meantime, please check your forum regularly and we will do our best to ensure that all pertinent information makes it to you!
